While out for walks, we’ve noticed a couple of frightening hornet nests. There is a starter one near the front porch here, and I’m monitoring its possibly stalled development. <\/p>\n The cats proved to be very poor hunters of mice, but I’d like to think they’d show this chipmunk who’s boss if we let them:<\/p>\n I took this with my phone.
