Here&#8217;s the first appearance of my allium plants:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theshellybeach.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/16628116700_9f281ed4a4_z.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3763\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3763\" src=\"https:\/\/theshellybeach.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/16628116700_9f281ed4a4_z.jpg\" quite a bit of greenery and the flower buds were finally discernible:<a href=\"https:\/\/theshellybeach.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/16699168482_a51305f993_z.jpg\" rel=\"attachment it was pretty creepy looking:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3803\" different varieties of Allium along the side here &#8211; two very similar looking purple varieties and a white variety. \u00c2\u00a0The white flowers were significantly behind the purples in development:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3804\" the allium flowers were stunning:<a href=\"https:\/\/theshellybeach.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/18095595989_1be33c8e3d_z.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3797\"><br \/>\n<\/a> <a 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The only problem with allium is that the bloom pretty early in May\/June and are quickly spent. \u00c2\u00a0Bossman told me that once the flowers are spent, you can prolong the time you look like a crazy hillbilly by spray-painting the blooms (also note the beautiful Asiatic lilies):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
